Overview:

The goal of this community is to provide encouragement, learning, and friendship to ARC members who have a shared goal of growing their art business. The content shared in this community focuses on art and art business. In order to meet the goal of this community, it’s important for members to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests. As such, we request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow.

Guidelines:

• Be kind, fun, and positive
• Be tolerant towards other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align
• Respect the privacy and personal information of other members
• Communicate with courtesy and respect
• Use messaging/email responsibly. These tools are intended to help facilitate communication, networking, and to promote common interests. 
• Posts and comments relate to Art, Artist(s), or Business.

Please do not:

• Make personal attacks on other community members
• Overly Critical Posts 
• Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others
• Post prejudiced comments or profanity
• Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members
• Use membership or platform to solicit sales of products or services

• Note: sharing links to your website(s) or social media accounts is acceptable if done for the purposes of sharing or asking for feedback from other members.

• Participating in, suggesting, or encouraging any illegal activity 

Consequences:

We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Usually this means that we will remove a post and follow up directly with the member; other times it means revoking certain privileges or accounts entirely. We request that all community members report behavior that violates our guidelines to [email protected]
